What is a drop shoulder sweater?
A drop shoulder sweater refers to a sweater where the join between the body and sleeve falls somewhere on the upper bicep (instead of on the shoulder). The seam line ‘drops’ off the shoulder onto the upper arm.
Class Supplies
You’ll need to purchase yarn and needles for completing a sweater.
You can use any fingering, sport, or DK weight yarn you have in your stash (8-10 100-gram skeins of yarn is generally plenty).
If you prefer to wait until class begins, just purchase one skein for swatching and you’ll learn how to estimate yardage for your sweater using your swatch and schematic.
