Crenellated Scarf

This scarf, with its textured pattern, feels plush and warm against the winter cold. The textured pattern is created with just knit and purl stitches. A 3-stitch Garter edging is worked at each edge and the first stitch of each row is slipped purlwise with the yarn held forward to produce a neat, rope-like finished edge.

Written and charted instructions are included.
