How I teach knitting
Most knitting problems happen because you don’t yet know what your stitches are doing.
When you can read your knitting, fixing mistakes becomes much easier, and you don’t have to rip out nearly as much work.
That’s what most of my teaching focuses on.
↓ Find What Fits You ↓

If you’re newer to knitting…
- Learning the basics
- Trying to follow patterns
- Unsure why things don’t look right

If you’ve been knitting a while but get stuck…
- You make the same mistakes
- Fixes don’t always work
- You feel like you should understand more

If you’re more experienced…
- Working on complex projects
- Refining technique
- Want fewer surprises

“I’ve been knitting for 20 years but never really understood what i was doing and lived in dread of trying to fix my mistakes. I’ve watched quite a few videos on knitting and yours are the most clear, the visuals are the best and your narration is natural, well-timed and clear.”

“I’ve only finished the first few modules and have been already learned so much! I’m fairly new to knitting and feel like I am getting a great start thanks to you.”

“Tonia provides an explanation of stitch anatomy before showing you step-by-step how to fix a stitch and sections of knitting. This will be a great reference for any knitter’s library. I highly recommend it.”
